The mobile independent Rotary Youth Exchange Data System (miRYE DS) provides common and specialized information, tools and functions for volunteers, hosts and students in Rotary Youth Exchange. It provides uploading of data and reports, and push communications from RYE management. It should be sufficient for most users to perform their day to day tasks in RYE.
The application is designed for use on mobile operating systems (phones and tablets). It makes extensive use of native functions and was written on an entirely different platform from the RYEDS online system. It does, however, use the same back end (database) as the RYEDS interface and does present some data directly translated from that system’s functions. It is not a replacement for RYEDS.
